Hello and welcome to my online campaign headquarters. My name is Scott Sherman and I am a small businessman who has watched in frustration as political insiders at City Hall ignore the important issues facing our city. I decided that I want to do something about it and now I’m running for City Council. We need common sense people that care about the future of our city, the guarantee of efficient basic services, and an end to taxpayer-funded giveaways to special interests.
I have lived in the 7th Council District my entire life, raising my children here while growing a small business from 5 employees to 30 today. My wife, Norma, and I, are involved in the community through a number of charities and community organizations and care deeply about the future of San Diego. That’s why we decided that I can make a greater contribution to San Diego on the City Council and I’m asking for your support.
Take a look at our website and learn more about me and my platform. And while you are at it, sign up to be a volunteer, get a yard sign, or make a contribution. If we are going to make San Diego “America’s Finest City” again it’s going to take a team effort and I hope you will join my team.
If you have questions, please call me direct on my cell phone at (619) 787-8419.

(San Diego, CA) – Assemblyman Brian Jones has endorsed Scott Sherman’s run for City Council. Jones represents portions of the new 7th Council District in the California State Assembly. Assemblyman Jones was elected to the Assembly in 2010.
“I support Scott Sherman because he brings his private sector experience, a focus on reforming city government and a commitment to restoring neighborhood services,” said Assemblyman Jones. “I trust him to set an example as someone of great character down at City Hall and I look forward to working with him on state issues that impact city government.”
“I am honored to have Assemblyman Jones’s support and confidence, he’s been a strong leader for the region and an important voice for us in Sacramento,” said Sherman. “I look forward to working with the Assemblyman on important issues where state and local government must work together, like our region’s water supply and transportation funding.”
Sherman has earned the support of other San Diego legislative leaders including Senator Joel Anderson, and Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher. Prominent city leaders including Mayor Jerry Sanders, Council President Pro Tem Kevin Faulconer, and Councilmembers Carl DeMaio and Lorie Zapf, have endorsed his campaign.
